Global Integration Game - World Environment Day 2013

Jess Tracey and Helen

We were fortuante once again to put on the Global Integration Game this time to celebrate our annual fundraiser on the UN World Environment Day for 2013.

Including the logistics team we had over 120 people participate in both the November 2012 test event and this current June 2013 game.

No matter what role you played the outcome of this game was for the whole world to work together and win together. This is the purpose of this game that Bucky Fuller wanted to teach us. That it has to be all of us working together to make this planet thrive for all of us or we will all loose.

On Sunday 18th November, The GENI Foundation and Integral Solutions had the opportunity to host and present a Game that was based on the World Peace Game by Buckminster Fuller.

There were over 50 participants that represent all the different regions of the worlds population in this Global Integration Game (GIG).

Last time we played this version of the World Peace Game or GIG as we now affectionately call it was in 1999.

This GIG test event that we played in November was an overwhelming success including an overwhelming feeling of all the responsibilities that we need to face to truly make the world work for everyone.

Thank you to everyone that gave up their Sunday to play the GIG and thank you for everyones support in making the GIG the best game to play in town.

WE Day 2012 Event

Another great event and fundraise effort for the GENI Foundation for the 2012 year. We also made many new Renewable Energy companies connections therefore our database has grown again!

We raised awareness in regards to where Australia is up to with the National Grid and using renewable resources with a skype presentation by Joseph O'Brien from Copperstring.

We were also priviledged to see and hear all about using recycled building materials and building zero waste houses and offices with Peter Ho from PHOOEY Architects presentation.

Not only did we have our event at the lovely Mulgrave Country Club, after many of us were able to stay back for a yummy all you can eat buffet dinner and continued talking and reviewing and adding more ideas to the GENI Solution!

Thank you to the Team, all our Members, Special VIP Guests, Supporters and Volunteers for another successful event and looking forward to doing it all again next year!

We are just about to send out our 2012 Membership renewals in July. If you would like to become a Member or simply make a Donation, please visit our website for all the information on: http://www.genifoundation.org.au

UN World Environment Day 2011

Huge event once again for the GENI Foundation annual fundraiser this year. Every year we celebrate WE Day, we are part of a world wide movement to bring awareness to our environment!

This years Special Guests were Charles Kovess, Jerry Speiser and Judith Durham.

Channel 31 flimed the whole event and the ABC TV News came along to film Judith sing her forthcoming song 'Stop and Care'. A song about the environment, the timing of this song is apt with all the currently carbon tax debate we are going through.

Thank you to everyone that supported us to make that difference.

Every year the GENI Foundation raises awareness of the UN World Environment Day. And every year this is a great opportunity for us to present our information to the general public so they are informed about the benefits of the GENI Initiative, receive the latest information about renewable energy today and the opportunity to network with each other.

Any information about getting involved please contact Ruanna on 0418 388 712.

Hope to see you at next years event.
